2017 WINES

Ca' Solare Pino Grigio
Provincia di Pavia IGT 2014
With a crisp, dry, lightly floral character and a subtle honeyed note on the finish, this is a good example of Pinot Grigio, a white that has quickly become one of the most popular wines in Britain.
Ca' Solare Pinot Grigio Rose'
Provincia di Pavia IGT 2014
A copper pink rose' from Northern Italy's Pavia region with gently fragrant summer fruits on the nose and delicate strawberry fruit on the palate.  Fruitily off-dry.
Foxcover White Zinfandel
A delicious medium pink wine with hints of fresh strawberries and summer fruits flavour is the key to its approachability and popularity.

Wide River Shiraz
Robertson 2014
Easy going, soft red with plenty of spicy, peppery fruit, this has good hedgerow berry flavours and power.  Shirz is proving to be a very popular and successful grape variety in the Cape.

Gimblett Road Merlot
This soft, rich and well-balanced Merlot combines juicy, plummy flavours with subtle oak and fine tannins.

Prosecco Ca'Rosa
Veneto, Italy
A fabulously fun and fruity off-dry number, this classic Italian fizz has becomed adored by Latin lovers for its soft mousse, or bubbles.  It offers a delightfully fruity nose, followed by flavours of apricot and soft peach, with a refreshing yet gloriously flavourful finish.  Less 'flinty' than cava or many Champagnes, this makes for a gorgeous celebratory tipple or apertif in its own right.
